Whether it is an original oil painting, a rolled canvas you brought home from a trip, or a giclée print fresh off our own large-format printers, proper stretching is what turns loose canvas into a finished, hangable piece. We hand-stretch every canvas over kiln-dried stretcher bars in our Van Nuys workshop, with even tension and square corners.

• Gallery wraps: the image continues around the edges for a clean, frameless contemporary look.
• Museum wraps: solid color or mirrored edges when the image should stop at the face.
• Stretch-for-framing: tight, flat stretching sized for a floater frame or traditional frame.
• Re-stretching: fixing sagging, warped, or poorly stretched canvases, including works arriving rolled from overseas.

We cut stretcher bars to your exact size — no forcing your art onto stock dimensions. Standard-depth bars suit framed canvases; deep bars (thick profile) give unframed gallery wraps a substantial presence on the wall. Large canvases get cross-bracing so they stay flat and tight for the long haul.
